My new book, Live Beyond Your Label: A Holistic Approach to Breaking Old Patterns and Discovering a Healthier You in Mind, Body, and Spirit, is now available for preorder at most retailers, including Barnes and Noble, Walmart, Christianbook, Books-a-Million, and more. The official release date is September 16, but you can preorder here.
This is the book I wish I had when I was struggling with my mental health as a young adult, stuffing down feelings and burying trauma in order to survive.
This book blends psychology, science, scripture, and my own personal experience living with the labels of PTSD, depression, and bipolar disorder. I hope this book helps readers see that they are so much more than a cluster of symptoms on a DSM checklist. I hope they feel seen, heard, and validated in these pages. Every chapter is packed with helpful tools and ends with mind-body activity to tune into our body’s unique needs.
But guess what? You don’t have to wait for September 16 to add new tools to your toolkit! You can grab my preorder gift, a Nourishing Habits Guide, now!
In part one of my book, I share about a need for nourishment, both for your emotional stressors as well as your physiological stressors. In this guide, you will have the opportunity to take a short self-assessment to determine what type of nourishment is best for you in this season: emotional or physiological.
Depending on what you learn from the self-assessment, you will then be provided with ways to incorporate simple and practical habits into your everyday life. This will empower you to partner with and support your unique body’s needs, no matter what stressors you currently face. Grab the guide here. (Pro tip: when putting in your order confirmation number, be sure to only type in the numbers, no letters or symbols.)
I also will be dropping mini podcast episodes breaking down the book’s four parts this month leading up to the release. Listen to Episode 304: Live Beyond Your Label Preview: Address Stress with Erin Kerry here.
I started this blog six years ago in order to share my journey with mental illness and offer hope for those struggling. Though I haven’t been as active on here in recent months (thanks to the book release), I have kept this site active with the same hope: to help someone light a spark in their own journey to wholeness.
If you are interested in integrative health coaching or functional nutrition, fill out this interest form here. I currently have a short wait list for clients, but I am still accepting new people as I have space!
